NBC is all about --cutesy, cutesy broadcasting. Its freaking annoying that i now find myself tuning into fox channel just to see some man-liness--just a tad little bit.

PS: although i liked NBC for trapping Mitt Romney with a got u question trapped that literally screwed up his Europe trip!

They brought it back for the 2008 Olympics but for 2012.

NBC lost the NBA in 2002 to ESPN/ABC so it was retired.

But they brought it back in 2008:

I wasn't even aware that they brought it back. Didn't see it in 2004, missed it in 2008, saw the games on bbc in london. Roundball rock is really up there with the uefa anthem if you grew up in the states.

yeah Screw, I remember 4 years ago catching a game and heard the theme... I was like " :lawd:

did I just hear what I heard for the first time in 6 yrs on my TV?"

They hardly show any events live, specially the opening and closing ceremonies. They edit stuff and fill it with commercials in order to make money which is why i saw the ceremonies last night on bbc1, that lady, hazel? She's funny.
