UK cannot enter the embassy that would be an act of war, the Ecuadorians will have to find some loophope so he can immediately leave.

He is in a very difficult situation, regardless of diplomatic own goals, worse thing for the UK Government is to upset the US Administration, as far as they are concerned fuck Ecuador. We are talking shared militray applications with the US, NATO allies with 1000s of Nuclear warheads comes before 'doing the right thing' for Ecuador and humanity.

For me the rape thingy stinks of a set up and the guy should be given a f-king Nobel prize.

I hope the US don't get him, I know the UK authorities will definitely arrest him as soon as he leaves the embassy, all they have to say is 'he is subject to law like everyone else' - that is the end of it - off he goes to Sweden.

We will see I hope they can get him out somehow.

Disgusting. Witch hunted by the Americans because their slimy activities were exposed. It's interesting how they are vigorously pursuing this man; it shows how scared they really are.

The extradition to Sweden is nothing but a joke. He is wanted for questioning in Sweden for sexual encounters he had with two Swedish women because he didn't use a condom (the women apparently wanted him to use a condom but he didn't, and that is enough for a rape charge).

There are police outside of the Ecuador embassy; that guy is not going to freely walk down the steps of the embassy in peace, forget about going to the airport to catch his flight to Quito.

What baffles me is why Sweden wants to extradite him so to hand him to the US for torture and incarceration. I guess even Swedish citizens aren't safe from their government; if the US asks the extradition of a Swedish citizen for whatever reason, the government will comply. I wonder if Sweden extradited Somalis.
