Shariff and the rejected mps

Postby SultanOrder » Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:02 pm

This guy has been focused for the majority of his time on these mp candidates rejected by the TSC. From there he tried to bring UN on his side, but that hasn't worked. Claiming that these guy's haven't been tried or found guilty of any crimes or participation by a court of laws. Well, that should of been brought up when this criteria was set in the agreements signed by him in the Garowe Accords. And furthermore, he is trying to us tfg courts, whose mandate has expired. Apparently the TSC refused to even recognize the court. You have signatories like Aw-Libax and Caalin rejecting this proposal by Shariff to go to the tfg courts. So, why is he spending so much time and energy, when it seems like most are against this?

We get it; you're a Farmaajo fan and hate Sharif's guts.

He's coming back as President anyway. Museveni has already spoke with the UN, AU and the US about having Sharif being re-elected as President. Only Sharif or a Hawiye leader, at this time, can be president due to Xamar supporting the AU in the city. They are sticking with Sharif.

So all these parliamentary problems don't matter

You think this election is a free and fair process for the MPs?

   You'll see next week who is President. And we will see who the stupid one is. I don't even support Sharif as President but that doesn't mean I am going to lie to myself about the reality. The AU is in the middle of a war. Why would they want a fresh new face who will not listen to them? Most importantly, why would they want anyone who will not listen to them and take their orders?

Did I say it was free election? Listning, its possibilty that Sharif wins and I have stated that before here. But he will not win because of what ugandas president told UN or what few clannish individual warns about what will happen if a non hawiye is chosed as president. The people of xamar, or majority of them dont care if its Darood president if he delivers. We are trying to revival a nation here. Museveni might praise sharif but its little he can do. I was not laughing at sharif but your reasons for him. Amisom was there before him and will be there when he is out of office.

The people of Xamar are a tolerant people. I know they will accept a President of any clan. I was merely just paraphrasing what Museveni wants and what he thinks will happen according to a Ugandan insider.

Bro, you claimed in your first post that only hawiye president can be in xamar and now you are saying the opposite? I think whats museveni wants and what he gets are two diffrent things.

I was speaking in the third person. I should have written "he". I wasn't talking about myself. I don't care if the next president is a Bantu from Jamame.

Some people are saying Yuseveni is backing 100% Shariff, and news is reporting Sharifs desperate attempt to get a few mps accepted. Something is not making sense.

AMISOM's is almost entirely funded by the Americans, its not the AU or Museveni calling the shots, they're merely contractors.

He wants his warlords back so they can back him. The selection committee shouldn't accept any of the warlords.

who is gonna define a warlord?
people who took up arms to defend themselves from the moryaan eg RRA, are they classed as warlords.
What about al sunnah or former ICU officials.

its clear that the selection comittee is being used to predetermine the outcome of any future political settlement.
Why have`nt those accused of corruption been debarred from standing for election?
it seems the international community want to bar those whom fought for Somalia, and accept those whom took bribes to sell Somalia. :som: :x
