The Grand Return of House Absame

Postby Colonel » Wed Sep 05, 2012 11:34 am

We are known for being the Somali sub-clan which has always held the biggest territory, there is no doubt in that. Our fathers were explorers and conquerors, capturing more lands from foreigners and allowing other Somali clans to settle in them. And indeed we gave them The Rights of The Guests. The colonial powers marked us as the clan which could not be ruled, tried to divide us and the world power of the time - the British - were forced to, for the first time in Africa, use air power against our great leader. The Great Sayiid, May he, his kin and the brave darwish fighters be given jannatul firdous. Amiin.

For the last decade House Absame has been in a coma, from being divided about the course to take in the struggle against Ethiopia to being too nice to other clans. Believing in a Greater Somalia when everyone else gave up and having Somali leaders plot with our enemies in order to further weaken us. However 2012 has been a good year to us, let us call it 'The year of the rise'. Indeed the sphinx has risen from the ashes.

We have reclaimed our historical title of controlling the largest land amongst Somalis, our NFD branch has been the smartest so far and decided early on to lay down their weapons, instead choosing to pursue the struggle via the political door. The results have been extraordinary to say the least, our son Yusuf Haji is the current Kenyan Minister of Defense and has the Kenyan army in his pocket. We have become elite in Kenya as our politicians hold high positions inside the government and our businessmen continue to trive in Nairobi, Mombasa and the NFD.

The NFD itself will soon become a federal state and once again it is our sons which make up the vast majority of its MPs and governors. As for Ethiopia, the dog Meles Zenawi has died. May he be cursed. However before despite his untimely early death the chiwawa changed his policy towards the warrior tribe. Once he understood that we could not be defeated on the battlefield, despite fighting with basic military equipment, he proceeded to remove his troops from the region and gave complete control over it to an Ogadeni. Providing him with weapons, vehicles and all sorts of equipment. I am no fan of Ina Iley but I believe we should give him a chance, if withing a few years there is positive development in our region then let the man run it in peace.

Finally inside Somalia itself Absame troops have spread far and wide withing our land and are fast moving towards the Holy City of Kismayo. The Ras Kamboni Brigades may soon find themselves inside the Holy City, perhaps within the next few days? Our vessel, Kenya, has send thousands of troops in Somalia. It's military which is controlled by one of our sons has brought to us the needed firepower which is needed to overcome the brave Youth Movement. I have great respect for the Youth Movement and wish that a change in leadership will make them part of the future Somali state .

Let us hope that the Absame leadership in the Ogaden region becomes as smart as those in Kenya, they have the firepower and are good in karbashing our enemies however lack the experience and cunning as the ones which run affairs from Nairobi and Garissa. With the imminent fall of Kismayo this is roughly our current sphere of influence.

There is no doubt that we have returned to our old glorious ways, other Somali tribes (which I shall not name) have shown great intelligence in the past however I have yet to see any which have ever held such influence and power in 3 different countries like the Glorious House of Absame.

Abdiwahab, in the last few years the tribe has drastically improved its situation. This is a fact which can not be argued against.

Yes I am indeed Mohamed Zubeyr.

Murax you're becoming a Sade extremist Image Jubbaland can thrive under an Absame-Sade coalition but is that what you guys want? I doubt it.
My proposal is to have Sade troops (ASWJ) in control of Gedo with Absame ones in the 2 Jubbas, Kismayo is a tricky one so once it falls Kenya must stay put in order to avoid tribal warfare. The mayor of the Holy City must be from House Absame but other high positions can be shared. And let us not forget the significant amount of Sheikhaals, Hartis, Bajunis, Bantus...in the city. There are more than 2 clans living there.

In a few years time perhaps the locals will adopt a Jubbalander identity  and we may have the ability to have an Absame governor of Gedo and vice versa. If that happens then let free elections take place in order to choose the future Mayor of the Holy City.

Colonel,

Why are you making aggressive moves against the Western Hawiye: Degodia, Xawadle, Murusade, Galjeceel, Murule and Ajuuraan ?

what an embarrassing thread. boasting about traitors while the majority of our people are oppressed and destitute. sure a traitor like yusuf haji might be the most powerful somali ever - with responsibility for all kenyan security, externally and internally - but at the end of the day he's still a scum spearheading the causes of kaffir fufus against the integrity of muslim lands, their deen and interests. if this sort of men make you proud then you yourself are a treasonous scum. i'd have said this is unbecoming an ogaden but those times are gone. today, you're the typical ogaden, treacherous and unprincipled, by far the majority. shameful that today ogaden isn't any different than all other somali clans.

adeer, what are you on about? only MZ rejected the sayidka, and that's after he killed many of our leaders because of one traitor. although the fallout between the sayidka and mz - the two most powerful somali forces at that time - was regrettable, it's mostly the ego and khariji/sufi tendencies of the sayidka that's to blame. anyways, besides bah geri and some dhullo and maqbuul subclans, didn't all somali clans reject him at the end?

as for ina jess, the reason he's rejected was because times were changing and there was no purpose to him any longer. he had to go after being first betrayed by the very same hawiye he had helped to liberate and afterwards by the americans, un and belgians who broke their agreement and instead fought alongside morgan. i'm glad the blood-thirsty warlord was told to pack it. he would one day be replaced by a much superior man - a man who would lead the destruction of the warlords and bring to an end their parasitic era: mujahid shaykh hassan turki 8-)

Abdiwahab - where are the western hawiyes located?

SomaliStar - you're ridiculously extreme, a mentality similar to yours is perhaps the reason why Shabaab are on the backfoot. Anybody that disagrees with you is either a traitor or a kaffir. Thankfully the tribe does not have people like you in places of leadership else we'd spend the next 200 years fighting helicopters with simple ak47 riffles instead of infiltrating the enemy's government and milking them before striking at the right time. You have no sense of strategy and if a tank came towards you you'd probably rush at it with a sword and try to break its outer armor.

SomaliStar,

Actually what is shameful is that the Ogaden were the last antiColonial qabiil left and now we have people like Colonel submitting to hegemonic rule by Addis and Nairobi.

Colonel,

The Western Hawiye are numerous and live in vast territory in NFD and Somali Galbeed: Mandera, Bulo Xawo, Luuq, Moyale, Wajir, Celwaq, Mustaxil, Feerfeer, Qalafo etc.

In NFD, OGs are only 40% of the population.

The House of Absame is indeed powerful when united and skillful in warfare. They have more right to rule Kismaayo.
