The somaliland police is payed by the UN, the EU funded your election, and UN NGO's also does alot of things in Somaliland

EU and the US and Somaliland have shared interests and excellent relations, we do not fear them.

Japan, Taiwan and Korea where under stricter control than many african countries are today for decades.
Japan became more or less independent in the late 60's, Taiwan in the 70's and Korea in the 70's too.
Japans constitution and allot of its laws were written by the US, The US forced the same reforms they experimented on in Japan on the Koreans and the Taiwanese.
It was good for them and it worked.

In those days it was in the interest of US national security to have strong and eveloping economies and stable governments to fight communism.

Eritrea is the shining light of africa , one of the few independent countries in the world, surprisingly th smallest at only 6 million.

They cannot pin terrorism on them, a false flag attack cannot be planted on them because you need years of propaganda and indoctrination by the media before that works.
Ethiopia is not strong enough to do the job even with secret help, and is likely to collpase into a failed state in the aftermath.

I think they have a chance at survival, and even sanctions wont work because the newly discovered Gold, and potash will be enough for them for the next 30 years.
