News in from Villa Somalia says Doodishe has been "recommended against" by the international community. The verdict is the man is too much of an "Islamist" more than is considered comdortable by donor countries.

Also Dhulbahante held private meeting with President and I am told made a strong argument to be given PM showing the president the great legitamacy and advantage of a person from territories of former British Somaliland leading the talks against Somaliland.
I don't know how reliable this information is, but I've been told a special convoy were sent to gedo to seek a quality candidate. :?

Wait a minute Merehaan support a harti Dhulbahante prime minister but not a majeerteen Prime Minister. On the other hand Majeerteen dont support a Merehaan prime Minister nor do they support a dhulbahante Prime Minister. If Dhulbahante is made prime minsiter faroole will say dawlada anagu ma tageersanin sharciyadi wanu kala noqnay.

There is no such thing as harti politically anymore. Faroole made sure of that.

Murax imagine if Amaanreer isaaq gaalshireedle
and Warfaa isaaq gaalshireedle

were divided politcally

Hassan sheekh is after one thing wich is to get a new face who puts the country and the nation first as he has a national and islamic plans for the country, has no interests in kenya. he doesn't trust a man from faroole even a leelkase. as for the dhulbahante they are neutral clan to some point but marehan are strategically closer to him and can help him with their southren weight. Faroole has a diplomatic relationship with ethiopia who wants to keep the somalis away from eachother so they said if faroole is not supporting the pm we won't work with you. I don't think he will do that because they can't work together but has the dhulbahante option if the marehan option couldn't work at the end we have to live with the political reality like it is.

Sahal you are kind of on the money although your Ethiopian bit is not factual at all.

Doodishe has been refused and now the president has three options:

1. Go with Doodishe who is the first man he wants and show an independence streak that will be truly surprising.
2. Stick with Marehan and name one of the other top competitors
3. Go with Dr Ali Ciise Abdi who is the candidate Dhulbahante today unanimously brought

The president is expected to name PM this weekend and we will see what his final decision is. If he goes with Doodishe he has set a predecent openly defying donor countries for the first time. If he goes with the two other options who are really in the same boat because Hassan Sheekh wants Doodishe he would have given under pressure and is brought back to "line."

It is one of those three options according to my sources.

 :som: If not Marehan, I would definitely want a Dhulbahante especially Khatumo/G8 heavyweight like Ali Ciise Abdi.

I have to say though, Somaliland and Puntland will be the biggest losers if the Dhulbahante Ace card is what the new President picks up. A big part of me wants to see how vindicated Dhulbahante will feel knowing not only did they get PM but Khatumo brainchild...that's like killing three birds with same stone...the clan gets the position, a special political representative of Khatumo gets, and they get ultimate payback/immunity against the biggest harassers of Dhullo independence/land

Hope he becomes MJ.
That completes thr jiigsaw puzzle.
The only Darood that understand Somalia politics is MJ.
You cant simply try to character assasinate MJ's cos they didnt screw Xamar, they are trying to survive too against the tide of Xamar unukah leh being turned into Somalia unukah leh.

Bruv if the President is Abgaal the PM should be MJ.
If the President is another Mudulood like Udejeen then Some Farmajo kinds are welcome.
We dont need a president that will just want people to follow his orders and then sack you.
Sh Sharif did that to the poor Mr Cheese.

If he goes with Harti, prolly it is gonna be one of these:

1- Non MJ but close to Faroole
2- MJ but not close to Faroole

fyi, Harti/Lelkase will bring in 1/3 of the country - unmatched stake. Does he want that massive land in the heart of somalia working for him or against him? That's the puzzle he is trying to solve.

While u guys sucker punch each other about the unnamed PM (president's personal secretary), darod elders (walahi) are in mourning here in Mogadishu. Lelkase chief is trying hard to unite them politically. He is saying either accept political annihilation or get your acts together and work woth one another. They (darods) have 61 members in the parliament but got 47 votes (abdiwali and farmajo), with Abdiwali getting some votes from non-darods while three abgal boys with 11 representatives got almost 200 votes.

Lol @ 'Darood' elders. Lets start by achievable goals like Harti reconciling amongst each other then go from there.

There was a major difference between Abdullahi Yusuf AUN and Faroole. With the former incharge of PL, PL brought a massive constituincy to the table. With the latter whether it was the botched handling of the Garsoor incident or the packing up and leaving of waves of Dhulbahante there is a sentiment that Puntland=Majerteeniya now.

Btw Lol@ 'Darood elders mourning' at the prospect of MJ not getting PM. Yea, that would be horrible for 'Darood' while we ignore the fact that the PM will be 'Darood'.

murax, these men don't see the PM as a big deal as he is a hired employee who can be changed at anytime. They admitted defeat in the presidential race and political superiority. Puntland will be puntland @ the end of the day and who gets the premiership won't change much. Fyi, the guys who are like :snoop: include MR chiefs i dnt wanna put their names here - one of them is Idaja's .....

Don't think I don't see the bigger picture, and I apologise for assuming You were on a Transformer/D-Runner type rant. That said for better or for worse Xamar today is a clan city. With the building of Puntland and the Southern Darood returning to their regions, I still think it was wise for them to do that. The Int'l Community has recognized Xamar as a clan city and are convinced that it makes most sense to have a President from that group. If You agree with Me on this part and that Darood have zero presence in Xamar, then You'll agree that their only chance at claiming the top seat is to have TWO successful, thriving administrations run by Darood in the deep south and the North East. An example being 2004. At that time, under Abdullahi Yusuf AUN firm leadership Puntland was pretty much almost 5 regions from Lasqoray, to Gaalkacyo to Bossaso to Lascanood. You had all of Harti who firmly backed Him, and for the Darood card You had Barre Hiiraale in the Jubba valley so it was seen that Darood were sitting on something. Bro, I think You would be delusional to think that with the whole Khaatumo/Puntland stuff, along with the deep divisions in the Jubba Valley concering Kenya Abdwali's support of them and the division there. The point I'm making is that the PM is not the cause of anything it is simply a consequence and if the root issues are not fixed then it is game over and Somalia has a new heiarchy. As I alluded to in the beginning of this post there is already the uphill battle of the Int'l Community and their belief that Darood cannot stablize the Capital or the Country.
