It remains to be seen if the President will take up the challenge for his main man but the odds are against this; he is new, powerless, and cannot afford a fight of this nature with donor countries. He may just surprise us but I wouldn't put money on it. This potential exit has opened the doors for many other candidates, mostly Marehan but Dr Ali Ciise a serious contender as well especially since the entire Dhulbahante have lined up behind him and brought him personally to Villa Somalia.
