I just checked it and all the websites are saying this. There is a wisdom why mohamed barre was not included in the last 4, I was thinking why saacid shirdoon instead of barre? I think bc no one is accepting two islamists leading the state. The pm was finally picked but we still have to waite untl tomorrow it will be much clearer.

Abdiwahab, anyone that farts is your aunt and uncle.

Saacid Shirdoon is a wealthy Marehan businessman from Kenya. His wife is in the parliament, her name is Asha Haji Elmi. He funds her NGO activities as well as NGO's of his in Somalia. Saacid as Prime Minister means couple of good things for Marehan. Presently he is the guy many Marehans go to when they want their properties back in Mogadishu and he is also very friendly with Kenya which means a political suitable arrangement will be reached on Kismaayo. If there is also a man who can bring peace and a state in central Somalia, it is him so we might see him strengthen inter-relations there. He is also one of the financial supporters of the Ahlu Sunnah movement so we will see him push them in Jubbaland.

The movement was actually united in a single organization at Hotel Shirdoon in Caabudwaaq (owned by Saacid)
Ahlu Sunnah's formation in Caabudwaaq at Hotel Shirdoon, which gave an organization to the most serious Somali-led challenge to Al Shabaab and united the most war prone and violent clans of Somalia.

He represents the personal force and the confidence to help his people without being seen as a tribalist that many of us hoped to see in Farmaajo. We have done big if he gots the nomination.

Republic,

And you Sir, Cheerlead ! I was a Saciidist early on. You were peddling Farmaajo  I remember waiting in Xamar for the announcement of Saciid being made PM but Sharif La Soo Gamay chose Farmaajo. It was a shock and my enemity for the greasy wadaad only grew.

If the Turtle does not name Saciid tomorrow, I will be mucarad. And you sir, have the audacity to call me a clannist :mindblown:

Abdiwahab-

Do you know what Saacid and Farmaajo are to each other?

Basically Farmaajo's dad Cabdillahi and Sacid are literally second cousins. Sacid is Farmaajo's uncle in every sense of the world.

Ma nimankaa baad u kala eexan? Ku lahaa I got mad at Sharif for choosing Farmaajo.

Yep, Advo. His wife is Saleban and her mother is Sacad. He is a very chill guy and enjoys good relations with most Somalis in EA.

Republic,

Unfriendly.

Abdiwahab-

Lust for power blinds momentarily. Maba kala taqaanid. Both wanted the same seat but you didn't even know this is a family affair. Cabdullahi Farmaajo and Saacid are second cousins; their two grandfathers were brothers. Shirdoon was the older. Sacid is Maxamed Cabdullahi Farmaajo's adeer as realized as it can get except for your dad's brother.

They contest for same seat; one got it. Now it seems like the other might get it. I think it is best for us we have seen Farmaajo first, and now what to hold Saacid to. Althought being older, in the midst of Somali politics all these times, financially stable and even holds interest above many, this guy would be a great person to move influence our way in key matters. We welcome this pick.

Advo, his wife is Saleebaan.
