That is correct, if you would go to the most southern tip of chile the sunset would come up from your right if you are facing north and it won't fully set nor rise only half of it and in the north siberia/alaska in june/july for 2 months the sun never set as mentioned in the koran to dhul qarnayn JOURNEY. it is the only place in the whole world where the sun never sets for months, basically you have a full daylight for 2 months non stop between june and august while in the southern tip of chile you would get half a sun neither rising or setting in the winter times. Get a globe tilt it 20-25 degreez and use your light bulb as the sun you would see the line running across the southern tip of chile which if you are in chile during the winter season the sun would appear as half on the sky and half inside the ocean..
your tottaly wrong about that Chile !! southern tip of chile is not even located the pole circel!!! its the only Pole circel(artic circel) both the south pole and north pole where the Sun does not come up att all in the winter time and the summer time the Sun is high up on the Sky 24 hours and never setts down the month of May to August....
- its only the pole circel beyond the 68 degree latitude where the Sun does not GOES DOWN the summer time and not comes up the winter time...
