You can say that when you're leaders recognize and respect the sovereignty and the Independence of SL , how can you say Somalilanders cannot lead Somalia , when you're constitution claims Somaliland sovereignty  , you have around 40 MPS from Somaliland in ur parliament why not exclude them entirely from ur constitution in the mean time Prof Axmed has the right to calacaal why walanweyn mistreated him

Professor Samatar's words shouldn't be taken too seriously. He was just voicing his frustration.

He is the same man that said "This book (Qu'ran) has become a bloody business". :dead:

He is just a highly emotional person. If he felt lonely and neglected in Somalia, he would have given up his post as MP. People like him aren't meant for politics. Politics is dirty. He should just focus on his academic life or try and focus in rebuilding the education system in Somalia. He is a good guy of great value to Somalis but I honestly think politics isn't for him. He is too much of a nice guy for the political arena. He should do hands on work with people on the ground.

Hawiye and Dir are the same to me bro, they are brothers. One thing I want for Hawiye is the same thing I want for Dir. A Dir President means just the same to me as a Hawiye President and I'll be just as happy. These are the only two clans I care about.

I am just referring to Prof Samatar as an individual. The man himself is not fit for politics. Very sensitive man. His brother is much better suited in Somali politics in my opinion.

Likewise bro

Aside from his tactless blunder comments which are fucked up if you ask me, He should put on his game face next time, and disregard his frustration in order to prevent it going against his better jugdement

Ofcourse they will look at him as a waqooyi man since the entire region he comes from are secessionists even his own province. this doesn't mean the professor is disbelieving in the holy cause as SL media try to project like they finally found their Mahdi. he is only disappointed in the mentality of the politicians who mostly are leftovers of the old generation politicians. he said some nice words about SL so what? all the die hard unionists even the southerns will all acknowledge what SL achieved not a big deal.

However, the prof will continue the good work and carry on delivering his message :som:
I see you've finally accepted your people willingly support SL.

What changed your mind? For a few short months ago you were
adamant your people had no choice in the matter and were being "forced".
I guess reality hit home

As for the good professor, I hope now he sees sense, and comes back home.
We could really do with someone like him  :D
and where did i say that? what i mean is when ppl (southerns or others) view this issue they will not say those ppl want and those do not want.. it will all look the same to them from the surface,, one big secessionist enclave unless a certain group proves otherwise.

the professor was living in a completely different world, the reality stroke him when he saw a backward corrupt qabiilist mentalitym too bad he thought everyone thinks or actually IS like him. but surely that wont stop his mission that started 30 years back

Stop being naive. The poor Professor is being fooled by these people. He already said waa dadka ugu caqliga xun aduunka previously because been bey u sheegeen, xaarna way ugu foodhaqeen.

He will always be a reer waqooyi in their eyes and a Dir man in other words he's a threat, weligoodna ma soo dhoweysaneyaan.

Haduu profesoorku taladeyda qaadaneyo, waxaan ku odhan lahaa, war iskaga hadh dadkan caqliga xun, they are useless, wakhtigaaga ha ku lumin.
