You realise that you just posted a propaganda film made by an organization that calls themselves Somali Masiixi? The entire film is bullshit.

Islam is not synonymous with Somali traditions and customs. It's a religion that most Somalis adhere to. It play a significant role in our lives but to propagate that you can't be Somali unless you're muslim is preposterous .

If that's true then what was Somalis prior to the 8th century?

The narrating voice sounds like Ayaan Xirsi Ali. I wouldn't be surprised if it's her.
