Taarikhda Magaalada Burco (Hereri & Hargeysa)!

Postby Anarchist » Sun Jan 06, 2013 4:06 pm

Not sure if someone already posted this or not, but found it to be very informative.

P.S. How did Burco come to have a sizable Arab community decades ago and whatever became of them?

They properly fled in the wars like their counterparts in Berbera and some did not come back. There is also a small recent Pakistani/Indian Muslim community in Burco;
They mainly work in the pharmacies.
