Well it seems they are worried about losing grip on Berbera due to companies such as Dahabshiil and Indadeero. I can't really say where this insecurity originates from. They have 12 members in the local council of Berbera, have the mayor, governer, rule the port and still are unable to act like civilized human beings. Sure they form the majority but they need to realize that Saaxil is shared by 3 tribes. Ciise Muuse are newcomers in Berbera while Xassan Daahir and several Reer Yoonis sections are Saaxil natives for centuries.

This Dan iyo Duco thing is pure quraafaad has nothing to do with fulfilling the needs of the people of Saaxil but rather take cheap shots and certain tribes they've been taking cheap shots sinds their Dubur conference in 2011. There after in 2012 the monkeys prefered a foreign company who'd lead and construct a new factory instead of Dahabshill who'd re-invest the money in the country. In the case of a foreign company leading the project it's pretty sure that the profit made out of this factory will go to a foreign country and foreigners you won't see a penny back. Pure just because of tribalism.

Dhabshiil was investing $120 million dollars in the factory. He offered these monkeys 50% share. They could not rise that kind of money ($50 million) and he then told them to go f&ck themselves.

I've been there for centuries from eastern Berbera (Batalaale) along the coast to Xiis shiping goods to Adan. It was in 2006 when Ciise Muuse had an armed conflict with the Xassan Daahir at Batalaale when they tried to dislocate them from their lands. It was solved by the guurti. Xassan Daahir are Berbera natives and have Xagal as their own district while Laas Iidle is settled by Reer Yoonis. Having precense in Saaxil but not in the capital wax caqli gal ah maaha.

That is something which is more recent, historically though the outskirts of eastern Berbera was settled by the Makahil sub clan up to Siyaara as Richard Burton
notes in his book First footsteps in East Africa. Habar Jeclo came much later through tahriib from the hot Guban areas when the Makahil went to cooler
climate areas westwards such as Bulahar. While Cisse Muuse and Muuse Cabdalle lived in close proximity and just moved in when some of the reer Ahmed were
present and when the reer Ahmed left they filled the void. Habar Jeclo were the last arrivals not the city itself but the outskirts just like today.

I have nothing against Ciise Muse. But they are always their own worst enemy. Although I was 8000 miles away in 1992/93, I supported Abdirahman Tuur's (AUN) men trying to free the Berbera port from the Ciise Muse gangs. I will tell you why? President Tuur (AUN) was representing Somaliland and the port belongs to all the clans of Somaliland. The Ciise Muse leaders were telling Somalilanders that the port belong to them. The HJ leaders should have never interfered in the conflict.

BTW the Makahil still live in Berbera's outskirts. They came to the rescue of the Ciise Muse in the battle of Berbera.

The port is a national asset that is not the issue now but HJ trying to tahriib to Berbera and trying to alter the demographics that is the stuff the Cisse Muuse
refused. They made it clear the two native clans that can be mayor and vice mayor are the Cisse Muuse and Muuse Cabdalle. Makahil do live in west of Berbera
up to Bulahar area but they use to live in Siyaara east of Berbera in the past.
