When have I ever mentioned democracy? When have I ever intimated that dictatorships "create" democracies (whatever the hell that means)?

As I've said quite a few times now, I simply made the observation that blaming a guy who was overthrown for the mistakes of the people who overthrew him is as ridiculous as blaming Louis XVI for the Reign of Terror, Haile Selassie for the Red Terror, Tsar Nicholas for the gulags and purges of Stalin, Hindenburg and Schleicher for the holocaust, etc. and that Somalia's unique status as the world's only failed state, despite the many hundreds of dictators, oppressors, and tyrants worse than MSB, speaks to the colossal, monumental failure of his "successors".

Comparing Somalia to Russia/France/Ethiopia or anyother country is stupid. These country already had the fabric of a nation and removing a dictator would not mean the implosion of the state. Incomparison Somalia did not have the roots long enough to withstand the destruction and devisive imput of your uncle. It's not an accusation, it's called calling you out for your obvious fallacious arguments.

Once again, I have no problem with the fact that Siad Barre was overthrown. However, I do have a problem with the disastrous outcome following his overthrowal and an apparent willingness on your part to place the failure of the rebels to fill the vacuum of power on the "power" himself. Every single country on the face of the earth and every single rebellion that overthrew a dictator was able to fill the vacuum of power and reestablish some form of sovereignty and statehood, save for one.

I think that speaks volumes on the epic failure of the opposition.
