Ilaahay ha u naxariistee, Somali abaal ma leh. They are quick to forget what this man did for them. Everyone today talks about the Turkish delegation and Erdogan and his wife when they visited the recent droughts but no one acknowledges that this man by himself commanded his people left and right to save their own people. In Caynaba alone there was 100's of HJ and Dhulbahante families airlifted. The same drought killed millions in Ethiopia because Haile Selassie neglected his people.

Even markey siyaasadu ka xumaatay Jaalle Maxamed Siyaad, he was light years ahead of the politicians today.

I swear you should stop pretending to be HJ. The same mofoker who was bombing balidhiig and arming the local qurjile against us in 82 was helping 100 famillies in Caynaba? Take your fantasy elswhere. He was our sworn enemy and we sent him to his grave.

give credit where it was due..
This was during the early phase of Siyads regime, before it turned it MOD.
He recently eilminited all opposition in the SRC, he foked over allot of the corrupt politicians.

Till 1974 he was a superstar and most Isaaq were siyad groupies..

It was sad but true, he didnt reveal his true self till the 77/78 war, the bad blood started there.
and after the 78 majerteen coup attempt, he started getting paranoid and the government turned into a MOD tribal fiefdom, not a state.
Isaaq were still quite but grumbling, till he went after our money in 1980.

second class citizenship is fine if you have money, but without money you are a lamaoyaan midgo,( no offense to madhiban)

Hilowle, we were discussing abaartii dabadheer. Maxamed Siyaad has committed atrocities no one is denying that but no one is denying that he was and still is, light years ahead of modern day politicians. He cant be blamed for dhibaatooyinka maanta Somalia yaala because when he was overthrown, the same people that overthrew him should fill the power vacuum, like in Ethiopia, but instead rivalry caused the civil war.

one of the perks of having a competent leader and government is your reputation and honor stays intact when disaster hits, no running around the world as refugees. :blessed:
