According to Datoore Yalaxoow SNM never entered any major Somaliland city until the govt collapsed in 1991.

meyle, actually I would have never cared who you claimed but the moment you insult one clan of isaaq or the SNM then it's personal to me. My understanding is that your aim was to pit isaaq clans against each other, but you were mistaken reer sheekh is the hardest clan to claim because we can tell a sheegato from a mile off.

Actually the guy is right we can say the average iidoor might have sympathized with snm but it was'nt till 1988 they fully lined behind it,
This isn't true indr. How can you say that while as early as 1983 until 1991 bitter battles were being fought in Hawd around Buuhoodle area by the first division? In 1985 entire villages were burned down, innocent villagers were killed. How on earth is it possible that Isaaq civilians were supporting the former regime pre 1988?

The war in Hawd started in around 1982/83 and in 85 it was in full swing with support of the people.
Radio Halgan in Somali 1700 gmt 30 Jan 85) Rebels report operation against government forces. Fighters of the Somali Nationalist Movement (SNM) killed 15 government troops in Buhodle, Togdher region. The fighting, which occurred ...

Im not a child so I don't understand this ''claiming'' or sheegato aad markasta soo hadal qaadaan, qofku wuxuu ilaahay ka dhigay ayuu yahay, no one and specially not some ciyaal on a forum can change that. I stopped the bucur bacayr rants but yet here you go insulting me. However this is the internet markaa I dont take it seriously. You talk about SNM yet Abdirahmaan Tuur himself was a family friend of ours welibana my abti but that doesnt mean I cant expose reality. Jahli baa ku haya, adigoo westerenka ku soo koray. f-king disgrace minal disgrace.

Caynaba sxb snm prior to 1988 attacked border towns from east to west we all know that , if iidoor realy backed snm then the fact that snm had only 3000 men when they crossed the border into the major cities dismiss it ,

meyle, look what you wrote
Waa wax aad iska dhaadhiciseen. What about the SNM soldiers that killed other SNM soldiers because of qabiil? I have 2 relatives who were SNM and they were killed by other SNM. It was in the Hawd and nimanka diley waxay ahaayeen HY, they thought they were Sacad Muuse but it didnt matter because if they knew they were HJ, they would've killed them anyway. This is not a secret, cidaad doontid weydii. There was rivalry and colaad within the SNM, how do you expect the majority of civilians to support this movement? Welibana badankood ay waxba ka ogeyn the movement until SNM reached the cities and the regime decided to bomb Hargeisa. There was dissatisfaction with the regime but that doesnt automatically translate to pro SNM.
this is where you slipped up, every Isaaq knew about SNM from it's beginnings from it's creation in jeddah sacuudi arabia, to it's first base in dire dhaba and then it's base in baligubadle, claim whatever you want - do you think we are stupid when you say HY snm killed HJ snm because of clan reasons

orodoo beeno kale soo abuur :ducktales:

Prove that every Isaaq knew about the movement. Ma internet baa xiligaa jirey? Tan kale dont repudiate things you dont know. I gave you an example of what happened to 2 of my relatives. Since you're a child qof kaa weyn intaad raadsatid weydii oo waxaad tidhaahda colaad SNM iyo Isaaqa dhexdiisa miyuu jirey and you'll hear what I've been telling you all along.

if the people of hargeysa and burco were supporting SNM why did they not rebel and let SNM take the cities in 1981?

That doesnt prove that all Isaaq knew about SNM and the fact you had to mention radio Halgan proves my point. Radio Halgan was created in 1988. Believe what you want but dont repudiate waxa luguu sheego unless you can disprove it.
