What does the religion say about guys wearing diamond rings?
I know gold is big fat NO and we as guys arent allowed but what about diamond?

As far as i am aware, nothing. Just silk and gold are forbidden for the men to wear.

Because gold and adorning oneself with it are things that are suited to the nature of women and the role for which they have been created, it is obviously wise for it to be forbidden for men to imitate women in that. The great scholar Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in I’laam al-Muwaqqi’een (2/109):
If gold and silk are forbidden for men for the above reason, I don't see why diamond would't be? But allahu aclam.

the reason majority of scholars say diamond and other expensive stones not haram cause the poor people do t know if this expensive or not. but gold every one knows how expensive is!
