Fuck the imperialists, both Western and Middle Eastern.

Is it a crime to oppose cultural imperialism?

:pacspit:

Is there anything more painful than seeing a parent name their child Amjad instead of Guleed? Is there anything more painful than seeing teenage Somalis in the US wearing khamiises and cimamads when their Arab peers (whose cultural dress the khamiis is) are wearing jeans? Is there anything more painful than seeing Somali parents encouraging their children to learn Arabic when they can barely speak Somali?

:wow: :wow:
:wow:

Sxb base gaad ka dhisantahay
The only Somali that put things in perspective, cultural imperialism wether its European or Middle eastern doesnt matter. Sudan is a f-king example, do we want the same shit in Somalia?

The insecurity complex shown by many snetters is staggering.

Some times you'll see idiots debating whether or not Somali is a "real" language. Then you'll see the whole "Pray for insert-random-country" threads where people will openly say they don't give a shit about Somalia. Then you have the clowns who either consider themselves Western or Arab endlessly debating about the merits of each particular culture, while they both agree that Somali culture is shit.

If Somalinet is an accurate representation of the youth mindset, we're in more trouble than I thought

Somalinimo doesn't exist, can you blame us? ps. I'd rather claim Arab then black for obvious reasons.

Also, what do you think of the fact that Somalis carry Eurasian genes? Doesn't this align us with these middle eastern cultures?

E1b1b1a originated in a population that moved from eastern Africa into northeastern Africa about 14,000 years ago, during the final days of the Ice Age. From northeastern Africa, E1b1b1a men expanded across northern Africa between the Sahara and the Mediterranean coastline, and out of Africa into Near Eastern populations, where their descendants still live today. About 8,000 years ago men from the E1b1b1a1b branch of E1b1b1a migrated from Egypt southward into eastern Africa, perhaps in search of new pastures for their recently domesticated goats, sheep and cattle. Most men in Somalia and parts of Ethiopia and Kenya who carry the E1b1b1a mutation today are descendants of these migrants.

All of these fuckers carry genes directly from the Horn of Africa ergo they carry our genes and not vice versa. We just decided to come back home.

You do know that is a little bit Afrocentric (hardly even recognised world wide), atleast you admit we decided to come back to the origin.

Yes but I'm saying it was a positive change however Somalia it was oppressive (this is not the religion oppressing them).

I'm pro-Qatar, UAE style dress. Headscarf and abaya is the social norm, however no one will force you to wear it.

Someone's agenda.

It's hardly choice wallahi, a Somali girl who is 14 in the UK will not have a choice to take it off - her parents are not forcing her nor is society but it will not be easy.

No, it's a widely accepted theory among geneticists.

In fact, I lifted that straight from my 23andme genetic profile
