We didnt plunge Somalia into a 20 year abyss of murder & mayhem.
We did what had to do to survive.

Somaliland will not come under moqadishu, at least for the next generation.

There is not much pressure being exerted by the UK or the rest of the world, its only in the wet dreams of some people here.
but hypothetically even if there was allot of pressure exerted on somaliland, Siilanyo would not sign off to any of the silly suggestions here for the same reason
arafat did not sign on to the 2000 peace deal with ehud barak.
it would be political suicide, and he would destroy his legacy.
In that hypothetical scenario what would happen instead is several years of " peace talks" most likely over a decade of talks that lead nowhere.

but thats all fantasy, this issue will be resolved in the next 18 months.

Listen people before we even discuss the facts of this claim lets get the title right. Somalia wants to join Somaliland. We dont want to join anyone. As for being offered any kind of post from the south. We dont think its right for us. The reason is we have a functioning democracy and on the other hand you have a non functioning state guarded by AMISOM and a president selected by warlords who controls very little. Now why would we want to join that. Its not realistic in simple logical terms.

Somalis today are not God-Fearing people.

All such should be removed from Somalia..Top to bottom. (or at least marginalized)

Arguing for grazing land has turned into skirmishing for arbitrary offices and controlled aid money.

You know that saying: You can take a ...

LOL Somaliland is barely better than Somalia bro the infrastructure looks the same, the people look the same, the beaches look the same, the food looks the same, the health situation looks the same, etc. Stop the whole S/L superiority thing, it's clearly not working.
