Lion

You need an education about alcohol and somalia, infact somalia was a country not only that use to produce alcohol but exporting it as well
Mareeray and snay piaza was a major factories that use to produce all the alcohol you need to import it from another country.
As for the point of freedom and religion in somaliland is far different than you may assuming or let to believe from western countries that you grew up.
Lets take Galool for instance as an example do you realy think for a minute that if Galool anounce that he is not muslim on public forum in Bur'o he will be cursed or harm in anyway.
The fact is in somaliland you cannot touch anyone because they are not muslims as the public response to you will be ARE you going to beat anyone who is not praying or fasting or not paying zaka, you see somalilanders are very tolerent sociaty and they dont judge you on bases of a religion but a Clan one.
So harasing Galol will result for your clan to be harrased in return something somaliland culture always set up to prevent, as it can escalate
to a full Clan arm confortation.
Lion dont ever think for a second that Clans dont defend theirs even if they
are ethiest.
Sxb dont ever preach me about my country and its culture which i know better than anyone who comes in these forums and and thinking that mudawac will touch Galool a Habar jeclo man in burco because of not believing in islam.

Dude...

things have changed. You might have been born and raised in a Somalia that produced and exported beers (i'd love to see the proof) but that somalia doesn't exist anymore..

And Galol may not be spat at or beaten in public but he will be disowned by his family and friends...Who are you fuccing kidding? U are talking to me as if i'm not somali..as if i'm not isaaq. I know my people more than u think i do.

I know girls who went to burco and hargeysa and got yelled at in the market place because they weren't hijab. you mean to tell me that muslims will tolerate an atheist in their midst???

you must fucced up or jsut drunk as usual.

People there mke fun of you for not speaking proper qaldaan and he wants me to believe they will tolerate Kaafirnimo.

Ceelgaabo

I did not call you brother nor anything else in fact I did not address you at all!

But you are indeed even dumber than I thought if you think Somalis are lovey-dovey Muslims. Somalis have no time for Islam or humanity or common good or any number of arab gods: To parapahrase Yusf al-hagag al-thaqafi, the somalis worship no other god except their clan. God comes about 25th in the average somali's Maslovian hierarachy of emotional needs. First loyalty is to the subest clan and then sub-upper clan and so on till it reaches the the peak of the pyramid.

That si why Somalis have been merrily hacking away at each other since time immemorial while washing their backsides with sand five times a day for their arab God. They knew killing for clan is far more important than god. And stop klying to yourself: Somalialnders do not give a flyiung hoot about Isalm or Allah. the reason they seceded is based on clan not god and Isalm is not a uniting factor of any value whatsoever not even within Isaq. If wadaads push clans just a tad too far they will be molled down within days, that is not a claim it is a guarantee.

Be back..gotta earn some living..

The only logical reason I could come up on why you hate faqash is that you either were molested by Darood or you were a slave of Darood...

Ceelgaabo

So where did I call you brother then? or have you mistaken me for someone else?

Anyway alcoholism is a clinical term for someione physiologically addicted to alcohol. Most alcohol drinkers are not alcoholics. Daft lad.

Don't throw about terms and concepts and words you totally ill-understand. That btw includes God allah and Islam. And you most certainly misunderstand Somalis if you think Allah and the arab faith plays any significant role in their loyalties and social belief systems. It does not.

Michael mariano a Catholic was the most popular politician in Somaliland prior to 1960(ironically his party lost in th polls because he cautioned against the mad sentimenatl rush for unity with Somalia - history had proven him right)

The Confidential(now declasified) Colonial office memo reads about Micahel's popularity " ...this is remarkable...in such militantly Islamic country". The originator was based in India otherwise he would have understood it totally.
