ONLF gets arms from Eastern Europe.

The sources say that, ONLF purchased the arms on late of 2012 and reached into, hands through Ethiopian country.
Ogadentoday Press has contacted the ONLF officials but declined to comment.

The source said that, the arms dealers have granted the passage of arms into Ogaden.

The source said that photo will be sent to Ogadentoday Press to prove the arms type if possible.

ONLF officials in Ogaden say that most of arms are received by the Ethiopian troops while fighting erupts but Ethiopia government accuses Eritrea arming to ONLF, which, ONLF denies.

The ONLF is fighting for independence for the ethnically Somali Ogaden region since 1994.

ONLF accuse Ethiopian government of committing atrocities in the remote Ogaden region.

Ogaden region is believed to sit on top of significant mineral and oil deposits.

Recently ONLF warned a Canadian company from Ogaden Oil exploration

The ONLF has often warned foreign companies against working in the area, and in April 2007 its fighters killed 74 people at an oil exploration field run by a subsidiary of Sinopec , China's biggest refiner and petrochemicals producer.

Peace talks between ONLF and Ethiopian government stalled on October 2012.

According to sources, there are still efforts going on, both ONLF and Ethiopia government is willing peace talks.
