somalia: the next stage

Postby sahal80 » Thu May 09, 2013 9:22 am

one of the things that made the uk interesting in somalia is its somali origin populations.
President hassan sheekh and pm cameron was seen together in shepherd bush at a places like the blue ocean restaurent.

The UN secretary general has lately appointed a british diplomate as new UN envoy for somalia.
the new cadaan ambassador nicholas kay is currently the african director of the foreign and commonwealth office, he has also worked in many countries as an ambassador.

mahigas assignment ends on 3 june when the unisom mission starts.

Amisom is a military mission while unisom is about the security and will operate in the liberated areas, its small forces and officials.

The UNPOS has been totally dissolved also no more NG0s. Nicholas job is different, he is there for unisom also will work with the govt for example the international money for somalia is not any more arriving through the NG0s but rather him and the govt will set up together a joint committee that will manage the money for two years and the somali govt must establish before that its bank institution and taxation mostly the tax collectors as no one knows the real national revenue.
The govt has lately appointed two officers, the hanti dhoorka good ee qaranka and xisaabiyaha good ee qaranka.

The somali army will get trained inside somalia by the british unisom and other unisom instead of going to abroad.

Amisom will be under unisom politically and financially and have to do every thing transparently.

The london diplomatic conference has helped somalia to act as a sovereing nation thanks to uk

The somali govt will forward its national policies soon as they sorted out the issue with IGAD and was welcomed by the world.
