Somaliland: Press release

As member of the Swedish parliament, I am delighted to send best wishes to the people of Somaliland as you celebrate your 22nd independence day this May 18.

Over the past years, progress has been made toward stability and good governance. Free and fair elections have been held.

Since 2000, five national elections were held, judged by international experts as free and fair, which have seen power transferred peacefully. Somaliland is still treated officially by international organizations as an autonomous region of Somalia, but this ignores both history and reality in the ground.

Hence it is time for the International Community to recognize Somaliland. Independent Somaliland will contribute peace and stability in a region characterized by war and unrest.

On this special day, I extend our warmest wishes to the people of Somaliland.

Amir Adan

Member of The Swedish Parliament

Member Committee on Foreign Affairs

Member Committee on Culture

Walaalo, He is just an MP in Sweden. There are 100 Mpls in Somalia who would disagree with him. There is nothing to celebrate. Your desperation is going beyong talks. Habar baa wax internetka kuqortay, ictiraaf bay soo sidaah, Ninbaa naag lahadlay, Ictiraaf bay soo sidaah. Listen Dude, Ictiraaf is not coming. You cannot have One Country for One Clan.

Habargidir ( Cayr-FIqishini) Live in Somaliland and there is not way we would have habargidir with two somali passports. Stop thinking through your arsses and be realistic.

You will need 2/3 of the somali Mps votes to get that and Isaaq and their Khat addicted Gedabuursi Cousins only have 28+6. You can garner the entire dir 61 votes and Ictiraaf would still be a dream.

If you have a problem, You need to call Fowzia and tell her what your problems are. Dont tell us about 1988 shit coz only morgan is alive for all the people who did that crime.

Who told you Mooryaans live or have any say inside Somaliland? Ilmo Kenadiid Dhabar Ku qaade only inhabit the harsh deserts of central Somalia. :whew:
MP Amir Adan is different from the MPs in Somalia that can't visit their hometowns, he is a MP in a respected country not a failed state.

It is about lending support, it might not mean it will lead to anything tangible. If Ayan Hersi is a politician in Holland currently (which I am not sure of) and
supports Ahmed Madoobe over Ilmo Kenadiid Dhabar Ku Qaade, I couldn't careless good for her.
