Siyaad Barre AUN was the last President, millions of people called themselves President after but they never will be. The last Man to control from Raas Casaayr, to Raskambooni, up to Saaylac was MSB.
He doesnt count. He was Ethiopian National. We are talking about Somali presidents. :)

Metamorphis,

Laakin seriously I wasn't saying what I was saying for qabil pride or anything but the fact is everyone that has claimed President or leader in Somalia for the past 22 years was no President but a warlord or a faction leader. Everyone that has come has acted that way including the current President.

Siyad Barre came to power during a time where most Somalis were "qabiil blind', and within a matter of years, he effectively plunged the country into the despair its currently in.
Only a Booli Qaran parasite would praise this man.

He was the last President of Somalia, everyone after Him was a faction leader, worst of whom was the Ethiopian servant AY. That was all I was saying.

Abdulahi Yusuf achieved every single one of his goals, and his people are reaping the fruits of his labor. That's more than I can say for your messiah.

Blackrain,

Recognition means nothing. What makes a President is someone who has firm control of their Country, and is independent in their decisions. The President's authority is defied in Hargeisa, its defied in Gaalkacyo, its defied in Kismayo, and even in Mogadishu AU peacekeepers are needed. Ditto for all the other transitional faction leaders that have come and gone. This is why the fact is the last President of Somalia was MSB, and anyone who denies that is just plain delusional or does not understand exactly what a President of a Country is supposed to be.

A President controls His country. Last Somali President to do so died 22 years ago. Theres a reason every article on Somalia ends with 'Somalia has had no effective central gov for 22 years'. Good day every body.
