Sahal80,

I'm from Ethiopia and I know the game of the political elite in Addis Ababa. PM Hailemariam Desalegn is very smart and educated man. He dislikes Hassan and Sheikh Madobe equally but at this very moment, he knows Hassan is a salafist who belongs to Damul Jadid and thus is close to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood. Hassan made the mistake of hosting few Egyptian military officials earlier this month. The Ethiopian elites who are working behind the curtains decided to invite Madobe to counter this.

The message from Addis Ababa and the TPLF was: Somalia if you can host Egyptians and possibly Ethiopian oppositions in the future, we can also host your rivals.

Same cards Mengistu and Siad Barre were playing in the 1980s.

Ethiopia doesn't trust Cagdheer Sheikh Madobe, who is not only sympathetic to ONLF but is former al shabab member and still secretly holds their doctrines.

Now its a case of minimization. Who is more bigger threat? Hassan and Egypt are and for that reason, Ethiopia will tackle them now and later deal with Sheikh Madobe, ONLF and his many tribal militias.
Sheekh Madoo was already there a week ago, that visit has much to do with what you said. He is now in kenya so he is likely to go addis before he goes back to kismayo because there is some thing new wich is about what I said earlier. This visit is totally different.

Well Ethiopia has interests in the region this is a fact and the EPRDF regime works not the way we think it secures its interests it does never openly support Jubbaland and their support would mean nothing, even if they do they will stay neutral in the whole jubbaland conflict . Now they want to be mediators

It has nothing to do with sex every Somali is protecting his and her interests and the Xabashis do not form an obstacle but stay very neutral, this works for Somalis although many want to win the support of Ethiopia against the enemy region or tribe. Which means u have a strong ally in the region thats all its all politcs.

abdi ismail xabashidu somalida ma kala jecla dantooday ilaashanayan so they most of the time stay neutral

For example Djibouti iyo Somaliland ganacista si misaan may ula dhaqman

Somaliland iyo Puntland markay is dagalaan uma kala hiiliayan they stay very neutral

Jubbaland SFG conflict Xabashidu stay neutral and now want to mediate between the 2

The TPLF are excellent in Somali politics they dont wan to side with one side against the other, because it will jeopardize its relations with the others. They perfectly understand Somali politics and the Somali political culture. And how Somalis behave. For example if they recognize Somaliland that means they will have enemies in Mogadishu and Puntland. If they support Jubbaland they alienate xassan and the SFG . So they balance their relations to have their leverage. The Tigrays are some smart motherfuckers.

I don't care what xabashis think. They are cockroaches and will always be my enemy. I am disgusted with our leaders and our people for pandering to these cockroaches. If I was in power I wouldn't have anything to do with them, in fact I'd be training and arming rebels. And the fat masris can sit on a ceeb if they think a somali is going to help them against the amxaara. TPLF ama DEDFTGY waxba nagama gelin, they are all cockroaches. I feel sorry for the somalis of the past, their descendants have become degenerates.

Abdi ismail Xabashis are no longer our enemies this animosity is just irrational, what have they done to us for us to hate them are they against our interests. Maybe in the future if we clash. Alhtough anigu ma kala jecli Xabashi iyo masaari, but i dont hate these guys either . Somalis talk about Amxaaro tigary people of the highland who are so far away. When oromos are moving closer into Somali galbeed misplaced priorities walahi. Somali people just want to survive and have no interests fighting their neigbors why on earth would we waste our resources on rebels who fight inside ethiopia what somalis in ethiopia should do is fight for their land and protect it from oromo. and those who want to fight against xabashis should do so its good. And those who dont so be it.

What the fock does ahmed madoobe have to do with ONLF? he is allied to Ina Iley get with the damn game, have a little clue before speaking dumb idoor.
Ethiopia needs an OG down to control Jubbaland due to the basin that is going to be brought from Ogaden, there is rumours that a rail way will be builded in the next 5-10 years where it goes from addis - Jigjiga- Godey- Afdheer- Gedo- Kismayo.
