America is a vast country that is nearly the size of the whole of Europe & somalis have a presences in all 50 states that make up the United States. There are many regional dialects the main ones being (New England Dialect) ( Southern Dialect) (Midwestern Dialects) (Mountain West Dialect) ( West Coast Dialect) ( Hawaiian Dialect) & all these dialects have sub dialects as well. Of all the accents on this planet its rather insulting that some one with a British accent would attempt to disparage an American accent! I was watching a documentary a few days ago on YouTube titled "The 2 faces of Miami". The narrator was British & was using unusual words for example he referred "STRAY BULLETS" to "LOST BULLETS", "HOMELESS" to "ROUGH SLEEPERS" . Recent British news anchors such as Piers Morgan have caused major companies like CNN to lose ratings because of their unintelligible *BRITISH* accents! American English is far easier to understand & straight to the point without riddle like phrases such as " LOST BULLETS". America is the face of English in the 21st century with a Population of over 315 Million to Britain's 60 odd Million. The Sate of California is posed to over take Britain in terms of Population in a little over a decade! Just a side note GOOGLE, BING, YAHOO & practically all Internet search engines use American English as the default :ugeek: ... American English is more popular then British globally thanks to the American media being the leader for music, film & other forms of media! I think Britain & it's subjects are bitter that not only did the sun set on England but its almost always overcast  Additionally America commands the world stage & Britain is in America's immense shadow
