Reviewing the new Sony Xperia Z:

Postby Anarchist » Sat Aug 03, 2013 11:03 am

Didn't want to get the new Galaxy 4 like everyone else out there and never fancied the iPhone trend.

Decided to retire the Nexus for a newer model and almost got the HTC One, when this caught my eye.

Image

Slim, sleek, all metallic & glass feel to it. Dust and water resistant. Big, bright screen with SONY true-colors. Comes with blue-tooth speakers as a complimentary.

Not as good with the battery life as some of the others in its flagship, but makes up for it by not being a slow, bulky phone.

Anyone out there looking for a new phone on the android market, this one here is a good contender.

Wow lol, recently I have been researching android phones because I lost my old phone somewhere and I'm interested in Android phones primarily because I like personalizing my phone. I'm still researching on what phone to get, I don't know I may wait for other phones to come out.

I don't see the point of ditching Nexus for the Sony Xperia Z when they both use the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and have the same performance.

S4 feels soo plastic like compared to HTC one.
So does the Iphone 5 which i think sucks.

Still Nexus all the way though. Don't wanna be fucked around by Sony (and every other OEM actually) over updates.

Eveything is practically the same as the T except that it's slightly larger and water proof, my older breh has it and I have the T.

It's pretty decent. Didn't really care too much about the picture quality, but it's like the comps, probably.

@AOC - my Nexus was getting old, I got it back in November of last year and it was on its last leg. Plus, I needed a phone that would let me close off all the ports and not have glitches because it was on a wet sink for a few mins. I constantly wash my hands in my line of work and usually leave it on wet surfaces again & again all day long. Besides, I'm digging all the sleek, masculinity to it. Got tired of the curves from all my previous phones, not to mention the bulkiness. It wasn't so much about the os as it was about the aesthetics.

I'm hearing Google and LG are working out details for a new Nexus, might go for it once it comes out.
