shocking interview on somali channel

Postby Hodan94 » Sat Aug 03, 2013 9:17 pm

I was just watching the somali channel and that jawahiri, head of parliament was being interviewed. The interviewer half way though the conversation pointed out the ugandise soldiers protecting him inside his office. He asked him why do u have these soldiers inside your office to protect you, they couldve a least stood outside the building. The jawahiri dude got annoyed and cut the interview.
walahi it was disgusting. I didnt know the somali government is thayt low. Every minister including the president have amisom protection inside their offices when they're alone. They couldve hired their relatives to look after them instead at least they're somali...but this...?

you are underestimating the power of alshabaab and how they've instilled a lasting fear in everyone.Using these amisom as a bodyguard is good idea :eat:

But it's shameful dont you think..for amisom to be inside their offices. I presume therefore they go to the toilet with them.
they couldve hired a family security or something to be in their offices.

i think hargaysaay pretty much summed up what my next reply could have been. Hodan how do you honestly trust a somali individual that you basically trusted him with your life to not share it your whereabouts with alshabaab?. These days its hard to tell if even those government officials are co-orperating with the enemy behind doors let alone the general public, which we know are constlantly bullied/forced by alshabaab hiding and living in their naighbours to carry out the tasks they specifically give them to do.

I think it would be right to assume she did it because she was being blackmailed. Kill uncle/or entire family dies sort of thing. Disgusting

as believable as that might sound, its still does not justify her actions. she knew either way she was gonna die so why did she go for the more dambi route lol? :? taking innocent lives with her :(

Al Shabab is a formidable enemy. If they are determined to get you, they will not stop. Silaanyo is lucky that he is not their target for the moment but when they come for him, he will surround himself with Xabashi Christian bodyguards.

Because if her uncle didn't die then wouldn't her entire family die? She probably loved them all, but its 2 (including her) vs her entire family (include her and the uncle)
