Emperor - you are a die hard secessionist and I respect that too , what I am trying to figure out is what goes around in the minds of people like you
do you think there is the slightest chance and prospect that these talks will climax in a deceleration of worlds newest country Somaliland . if not what
alternative viable solution do you see fit , do you think the path we took and tried is gonna be the way forward . can we give a union based on our terms
a chance .

Hargeysay u should not call me a secessionist because i am not one , Somaliland was not an integral province of Somalia, it was an equal state that united with Somalia so i am about dissolving the union. Having said that, i believe these talks have an honest meditation we can work out an exit way out why not, if the talks fail and there is no change we are getting what we want. The only way i can accept a union with the walanweyns is if a referendum on independence is agreed on in a few years time. If that doesn't work out we should consider some other options. Walanweyns have no interest sharing a country with Somaliland based on equality and coexistence they want domination ,so we need to avoid that at all cost.I prefer if the walanweyn won the mediating talks we should walk out from the talks, and lease the berbera port to Ethiopia for 15 to 20 years. With investment from Qatar they can transform it. In exchange Ethiopia recognizes Somaliland independence, many of African states will follow suit , than except the Arabs maybe some European countries will also recognize SL. Daahir rayaale and his ministers were flirting with this idea. Meles zenawi and the EPRDF were on board. But Somaliland didn't want to lose the 150 million dollars revenue it used to earn from Ethiopia through the berbera port. But if we find oil in Somaliland and the talks go wrong we should consider this option. Submitting to Walanweyn is no option, thats the biggest humiliation we will ever go through if that happens.

Your only repeating the same baseless arguments put forward by those with little facts and harbour a deep dislike for Silanyo based pure trabilism. Everything you said can be laid at Riyales door. He was a fat useless smiling lax who cheated his way into office. Go tell your reer Abti that. Education is free today unlike before

Furthermore your tribe has far more influence in this government than Silanyos. If someone should be accused of theft it's more likely to be yours than Silanyos.
