Won't last for more than a couple of days. The Tea Party folks are salty and this is a last ditch effort to fight Obama Care, but it ain't gonna work. Obama's entire Presidential accomplishment, legacy is this health care bill and the democrats won't budge. The tea party/republicans know this won't work but they just wanna be able to say 'We did everything We can'. Did You hear about the US credit rating change? :Heh:

These ted cruz is a threat to the national security. This kind of senators should never have been in the senate for the first place. Democracy can destroy America too. Raising the national debt ceiling become an obstacle because of tea dirty ideology.

Parliament was shut down in Canada (thanks to PM Harper). If Canada could survive it, so will the Americans (you won't even notice the difference).

Nope. Canada and the US is totally different. 85% of people in the US are living paycheck to paycheck and are swimming in debt. A long shutdown could be disasterous.
