Languages we have similarities:

Arabic
So many words like sacat, kursi, sariir etc

Italian
Few words such us Jalaato, Farmaajo, Armaajo, Katiibo etc

English
Little amount such as hoteel etc

Ancient Egyptian
Quite alot such as hibo, wabi, hees etc

Hindi
Quite a few such as gaari, baraf, dhukaan, etc

In terms of grammatical similarities I can't tell. But similar words that sound alike and have same meaning there are many such as those I mentioned above.
Those aren't similarities but loan-words.

I noticed a while back that Somali nouns have gender, it had never occurred to me before.

Example:

Kursigan
Buuggan

But

Shanladan
Waraaqdan

And
Kabtaan
Sariirtan
You finally learned that Somali nouns have gender
Haddi sheekada bar ama barro tahay. Adiga meesha maxaa ku haysa :MJ:
