Saacid defies the odds.

Postby The`Republic » Tue Nov 19, 2013 4:48 pm

It has been two weeks since they said he is gone.

Sahal said "in 48 hours" his ministers will resign and his government is over.

On Sunday they said a motion will be brought in Parliament and he will be called for a vote of confidence. The motion has yet to rven be filed.

They said yesterday within 48 hours he will resign. It is already 24 hours past and the guy is acting as Prime Ministerial as possible.

Now he may just turn out to resign or be removed by Parliament, but the man has already defied the odds and stood his ground.

He has proven to be a different man than the Prime Ministers before him. He seems like he knows the people, the terrain...he has never left Africa and has been as a "rer Mogadishu" the last 21 years as he has been a "rer Caabudwaaq" or "rer Nairobi". He is a local and his links and roots are deep.

Let's see what happens next but in the meantime easy with the assured benchmarks from the rumor mills.

I agree that Saacid is a local, unlike Farmaajo.

OD since you have been a broken record for sometime, someone has to change you I suppose. And Saacid isn't my "uncle". He is the Prime Minister of Somalia and I have no more claim over him than any other Somali.

Arabman, we finally agree on something it seems. And no, clearly I disagree with your disingenuous attempt to take me out of context in a recent discussion you had with Buuloxuubey whereby you made a blanket assertion unsupported by any rational or even irrational juxtaposition regarding thr observation I made about political Islam to be one potent force against Somai tribalism and the idea one could then conceivabley support the criminal outfit called Shabaab.

I still think He's a gone, its only a matter of time. The President's same financiors from Qatar are in play here and money talks at the end of the day. That said Ali Gheedi, Cumar Cabdirashid, Farmaajo left meekly without a word. With Saacid its obvious that He has some strong local/external connections thats kept Him in office till now.

I suppose that's why you come back after a long hiatus.

The third "48 hrs" has come and gone. Saacid is still there.

The next benchmark is by Friday when Speaker comes back on Thursday.

That's another "48 hrs". The 4th one lol.

The reason nothing has happened is due to the fact that MPs were off for 7 days b/c of ongoing construction within parliament building. Jawari returns today & first sitting of parliament is scheduled for Saturday

He`s a like a condemned prisoner on death row....the lawyers get 1..2..3.stays of execution.
Eventually it will reach his old mate H. Sheikhs desk, and he will sign Saacid`s death warrant in a heartbeat....while smiling.

What about the fate of your women getting raped in Laas Caanod & your old men wearing Dirac as symbol of shame? You belong to the most humiliated & shamed grouping in Somalia. If I were you, I would bury my head in shame. Not log on snet & pretend all is well & dandy in oppressed Laas Caanood & the other villages your pathetic clan lead their miserable gutter lives :p
