Somalia Gods And Monsters

Just how much does the simulated media image affect the perception of this ethnic minority?
The aim of my project is to explore the image of Somalia and the Somali people. The term image is described in the Oxford Dictionary as 'a representation of an external form of a person'. From this we can understand the visual representation of an individual is created from an image that precedes them. Perceptions can be made from the image presented. MrSalads Visual Dissertation.

Thanks for sharing

Somalis have to realise how counter-productive throwing rocks at each other is. We are all on the same boat.

the "image" of Somalia and the Somali people.
Most Somalis don't care about that, and when you don't brand yourself then someone else will do it for you and put you in a box. Get use to it pirates.
