I wouldn't mind seeing sophy get tested with real life proposal by a Somali madhibaan brother. It would be either her family or her man. Wonder which side she will choose to? Sophy, speak the truth my lady.

 What a sad fate indeed for my beautiful future children. Disowning can hurt. I'll ask hooyo and aabo a hypothetical question and I shall see the response uno momento. For some reason, the #1 reason parents take issue with it is because of social stigma/alienation from other Somalis. Perhaps something in our twisted collective consciousness needs to change.

I never understood this steorotype, these people look somalis, and we are superior to them because of things their ancestor did in the past? It dont make any sense for them to inhearit what their forefather did. This is cultural ignorance and Its against the deen.

damn if you do, damn if you don't. if you choose the madhibaan guy over your family, then you choose the his genitals over your parents/family. if you choose your family, then you're a hypocrite, because it goes against your argument. :pac:

Hussein, are you angry because they are generally more attractive than mainstream Somalis? Given my noble tittle as reer ugas, I shall finance my madhibaan friends and support their cause. Am I a hypocrite for choosing to be an angel investor?

 just because they're happen to be more attractive than you doesn't mean you can speak for the rest of us. as a reer ugas (whatever that is) tell us, will you choose a madhibaan guy over your family or will you stick with your family and reject the madhibaan guy, thus further shining light on your hypocrisy.

Sophi, you do know we are talking of Somalis and their discriminations right? Midgaan or madhibaan, I have never seen any Somali accepting them. My family being one of those Somalis. My uncle once fell in love with a madhibaan girl, and trust me it reached a point of no return with my grandparents when they automatically disapproved of her. So don't tell me you may go against your family in such matters.

she actually avoided answering me. if she choose a madhibaan guy over her family, then no self-respecting girl, with dignity and family values would walk out on her family and if she picks her family over the madhibaan guy, then that totally defeats her argument, labeling her a hypocrite. my god! why am i repeating myself.
