The Ugas of Mohamed Gorgaarte (Madhibaan/Gabooye) says historically and in government Marehan are known as crusaders for civil rights, community cohesion, and strong sense of fairness and justice. He says everytime they tak over government the Somali people see their true sense of nationalism and respect for the dignity of all especially the oppressed communities.
H says we breath better everytime a Marehan takes national power, because we know he will care about the civil rights of everyone

It is noble compliment for a Ugaas from a minority clan to acknowledge Marehan as a tribe that brings fairness and equality.
