Look at the size of Somalia compared to the gulf

In the instance Somalia has oil....what do you think the political leaders of the different clans will do? Claim their own lands and take the money for whatever is found or come to an agreement that's it's all too much and should be shared since it be near impossible for one clan to just claim it?

Even if the President wanted to enrich his own clan members......would that even be possible there would just be too much money

I don't think so, maybe everyone will become tired and eventually just give up trying to come out on top. But if everyone has a villa home like the gulf Arabs do, nice cars and foreigners do menial jobs in your country then surely everyone would be equal? The only reason that probably won't happen is because things like citizenship will available for everyone and resources become nothing, lol time will only tell but by then most of us will stop caring (if we're alive that is).

if oil was found in Puntland , Majeerteen would crown them selves as kings of Somalia. And use their wealth to rule Somalia.

if oil was found Somaliland , Somaliland would share it with no one only with Somalilanders.

if oil was found in the far southern Somalia they would want to share it with the Turks and the Ugandans

I actually disagree with you. Somalis are giving people, they like to help eachother and share. Just look at during the time when Somalia had a functioning government. No Somali went to sleep hungry. Dont think just because Somalia was in war for 20 years that it means they are selfish people. Somalis have problem sharing power but not wealth/money.

If Somalis had money if oil was found in a particular region settled by a particular Tribe , do you really think they would share it with the enemy tribe  Your so naive.Kan yari Somalida mala internetku ku bartay 23 years Somalia eeg.

Somalis cannot even share a few farm land in lower shabelle. Adna waxad ka hadlaysa billions of barrels of oil
Somalis never shared their camels , camels they love the Somali nomads love their camels more than anything they have killed for camels you dont know the camel raiding that took place in the 1700s and 1800s and 1900s , Somali folklore tale and poetry is based on that. Somalidu waxay tidha cuudka wala sumadeysta
