^ I think it's a preference and practical thing. Personally, I would steer away from someone with 1000+ friends on FB and another 1000+ followers on IG. Unless they're using their page to promote their business/product, I don't think there's anything good that will come from having that many people. Likewise, if they use these accounts to stay in contact with family/friends, then that's reasonable as well. Of course, if anyone wants to cheat, they'll find the means regardless; however, I simply wouldn't want to be married to someone who's on their cell/laptop browsing pics, making statuses, msg'ing all day, every single day.
