The two most important ministries

Postby The`Republic » Fri Jan 17, 2014 3:37 pm

1. Ministry of Public Works and Reconstruction given to Engineer Nadiifo (Hawiye/Baadicade)
2. Ministry of Planning given to Sulaymaan (Darood/Majeerteen)

Ideally these two should be the two largest, most important, and powerful ministeries for a long time to come in Somalia.

As Somalia is today only few ministers do matter namely security security security security, the rest will come later on.

Lol

Eng Nadifo has replaced maryan qasim, her post is very important and will deal with the humanitarian aid in the development department but the planning guy his post is less important than many posts, it doesnt even has an extra department such as the international cooperation as it was before. Only planning means ministry of social affaires/al takhtit al ijtimaci wich deals with the public policies, under the dam jadid it will promite the govts strategic visions like the national conferences and reconciliations.

His post serves the state in the first place also the ideologist political parties like to take it like the islamists to change the socio-cultural orientation. Ali osman of sudans islamic national front was a minister of the social affaires at the start of the regime.

This minister is dam jadid or from SIMAD network, strangely, unlike of the rest most of the Dblock posts are dam jadid!!. Conspiracy :?

In Somalia situation today it doesn't need all these different ministries apart from:

1. Minister of security/defence
2. Interior Minister
3. Finance Minister
4. Foreign minister
5. Education Minister
6. Health minister
7. Constitutional and federal minister

All those are the main ministries Somalia needs development in, it will lead to a stable Somalia with good education and health. Then it can economic boost occur. But first it needs both physical stability (peace) and political stability.

Guys, I said ideally and should be. I am not saying retarded, backward Somalis especially during this government will show any propensity for good governance.

Those two ministries are the most important. Planning is central to everything, it is like the gear that keeps every running. For example in a state like Israel, the Ministry of Planning is the single most important domestic ministry after Defense and Foreign Affairs. And in a country like the US, there isn't a Secretary of Planning but the US has dispersed the responsibilities of that ministry into 98% of the government regulation, accountability and enforcement goliath departments it built up.

And for a long time, the Ministry of Public Works and Reconstruction should be the single most wealthy ministry and bedrock of the future Somalia.

Osob, lobby for the importance of her Ministry then.

This lady should have final signature on everything from every street light put up to how the New Deal is dispersed, to who gets a license for any investment, to how to build schools, hospitals, and how to redevelop our national landmarks. Everything we celebrate as achievement is directly related to what her Ministry should manage.
