From one point the poster is right and I said like this when I was new to this site that the most northern parts of somalia is found in puntland and not somaliland as people think but this is when your measuring from the south point not the north point. For example put yourself in ergavo your north will be mait and your east will be boosaaso!

Puntland is laterally in the north while somaliland is medially located in the north...mait, erigabo, barbara, awdal hargeysa...close to eachother while some parts of puntland are stretching into waqooyi bari at the same time there is jariiban, northen galkacyo, garoowe iyo nugaal who are more closer to the central region and far from bari!

From las kore or east of las kori is called bari

People in baladweyne call galgaduud east and feerfeer their north

The world uses directions: north, south, east, west and there is no east beyond the bari region so the somalitraditional directions are right while there is a west next to waqooyi region wich is somali galbeed.

Thus, our waqooyi is zeila though from the south point some parts of puntland are in the northmost and are paralel to the northern djibouti but truly waqooyi is the red sea direction and saudi arabia.

It depends on who you ask.

Caluula technically is the most northern part in Somali lands. But Waqooyi is synonymous with Isaaq lands. Puntland is mostly known to be North East,
Whereas Mamulka Isaaq is known to be the North but should be North west (minus awdal).

I've counted four Bargaals in that map, could this be the Springfield of Somalia?
