speaker calls for suspension of the baydhabo conference

Postby sahal80 » Wed Jan 29, 2014 8:49 am

Maa ashbaha alleela bil barixa! Caawa o ekaa xaley!

Govts way or the highway!

After meeting with local politicians, ministers, mps, The somali speaker jawari has called for the suspension of the baydhabo conference, some change in the speakers position!

The speaker have come up now with some official initiative

A 700 delegates from six regions have finally formed a council of elders(70 members) wich is close to elect its president though he will not get an official recognition under the current arrengements.

Much of this issue will depend on the position of the ethiopian amisom who was given the mandate to command this region

officially, until federalism that is based by the parliament rules was invented, they can only make interim administration for the regions that have no ready-made interim administrations, thus, to get recognition, baydhabo, officially may have limitations but unofficially it may call itself wherever

There are other 3 to 2 initiatives- 3 to 2 gobol-based administration- but there are also meetings in xamar to hold conference for administration that includes some of these 3 gobols.

Thanks brother Sahal, but Im wondering on why SW state claims S/hoose as theirs when clearly S/hoose politicians refused to join them,....it makes more sense to let S/hoose join the banadiir state then SW state!

anyway i just hope federalism loses in the coming constitution elections, as we all know federalism does not suit Somalia and its people.

I'm from there, they were the majority so they have right for to do whatever but politically it doesn't woork form.

There are 4 xamar initiatives: splitting mogadishu so only wardhiigley, waaberi, cabdi casiis and xamarwayne will form the capital wich the parliament calls it a special district, the rest of banaadir will join the two shabeele known in the old days. Asthe banaadir region wich had direct borders with hiiraan and and bay. In this way, the 3 millions of mogadishu will get representation in the coming upper parliament!

The second initiative is adding hiiraan to this banaadir state under the title shabeele state

The third initiative is adding hiiraan to mudug as a central state

The las initiative is a federal state from galkacyo to jilib borders.

by far the 4th is the best  ,.......Juba hoose and Gedo can join with each other for all we care but without Juba dhexe!

but the regions between Galkacyo to Juba dhexe Jilib should be united or split into two state, Juba dhexe belongs with us (metaphorically) and not Jubaland!,.... i hope hassan can fix this mistake by taking Juba dhexe from ahmed madobe's jubaland

Sahal which one of this three , will be chosen for Somalia?

those who organizing the conference want 6 but as a politicians it depends. Main candidates ex speaker adan madobe, xaabsade-those are for 6- and sharif hassan who is closer to the govt position.

There is a fear that ethiopia may take advantage of the baydhabo situation by supporting "the local legitimacy" than calling for recociliation talks!.

Kenya wanted to keep these three provinces together and hassan has accepted it as an interim stage. Lugadheere the second president of jubba is from jilib.

This is what I said in December

Topic: Ethiopia will destroy Jubaland completely
First they empowered Ogaden/Marehan with this 3 state Jubaland and now they will fund, support and create a 6 state Jubaland with Digil&Mirifle at the helm. Those who think Digil&Mirifle will not go through with this have another thing coming, they will get complete backing from Ethiopia who wants to cause havoc in Somalia so prepare to see D&M with technicals and weapons to put this 6 state Jubaland into action.
