Up to Merca it's the Government. Beyond Merca until the outskirts of Kismaayo it's Al Sheydan.

Afgooye is a suburb of Xamar Soo iska reer Xamar Ayaa tahaaye and for someone who is from Afgooye your still clueless about the Dynamics of the region. There is more Mirifle living in Xamar than even Shabeele Hoose so they might as well add it to their federal state than
No I was born in lafoole but meant to say i went south as far as afgooye(during the first war) Moved to dharkeenley when I was 7 before the war. left xamar to abroad when I was 13 years old.

Govt controls beyond janaale, close to baraawe.

Thanks brother Sahal, but Im wondering on why SW state claims S/hoose as theirs when clearly S/hoose politicians refused to join them,....it makes more sense to let S/hoose join the banadiir state then SW state!

anyway i just hope federalism loses in the coming constitution elections, as we all know federalism does not suit Somalia and its people.
I'm from there, they were the majority so they have right for to do whatever but politically it doesn't woork form.

There are 4 xamar initiatives: splitting mogadishu so only wardhiigley, waaberi, cabdi casiis and xamarwayne will form the capital wich the parliament calls it a special district, the rest of banaadir will join the two shabeele known in the old days. Asthe banaadir region wich had direct borders with hiiraan and and bay. In this way, the 3 millions of mogadishu will get representation in the coming upper parliament!

The second initiative is adding hiiraan to this banaadir state under the title shabeele state

The third initiative is adding hiiraan to mudug as a central state

The las initiative is a federal state from galkacyo to jilib borders.
Are you sure your from Shabeele Hoose? Mirifle as a Clan has Zero Degmo in that region.
 wallahi this never gets old.

sahal what do u think of my map above?
Its closer to implementation. Hiiraan and mudug, banaadir and the two shabeele as old banaadir

The pre-69 map. Siyaad barre has played with this map! Example gedo is a mix of lower jubba like baardheere and the alto jubba( the southwestren region)

Rumors are saying that ethiopia is planning to make gebre its ambassador to somalia. Gebre is the man who is behind the igad ivolvements in somalia.

This indicates a lot about the heavy ethiopian involvement in the somali affaires these days
Dam jadid has dismounted from their hardline policies and are now relying on ethiopia to reach and implement their policies

There is a fear that ethiopia may dismember this region...have to wait...rumors are saying the govt has arrested the governor of bay for collaborating with the conference after he was called to come to mogadishu.

Sahal sxb....truly you have become a circus clown.
It was only recently you were claiming Ethiopia had been defeated politically in Somalia, and how they were gonna be removed from Somalia.
The Arabs were supposed to come to the rescue of Hassan Sheikh....blah blah blah!

Now we see Ethiopia has not only increased it's troop numbers in Somalia, it's also getting paid to do it.
Hassan Sheikh's pathetic regime has to bow and scrape to the Ethiopians to get anything done.
A new Ethiopian satellite SW state is being created....which will include S.Hoose.

Somalia cannot be ruled from the center by a single subclan......this is the take home lesson for today. :D :som:

I think my analysis were clear!

Firstly, ethiopia is the biggest enemy of somalia, kenya may want to have some influence in some region but ethiopia want to controll the whole somalia but politically and diplomatically.

Now, the somali govt wants to administer the local regions, some have inter-connections with other countries.

This govt, to change the local situations diplomatically not formally have become closer to ethiopia, that is why the addis agreement...they believe the same thing will be done in the southwestren region to facilitate the govts men reaching the power in there not the other way but, I have my own personal opinion that taking out other amisoms from that region to deploy them in other sectors, stopping the new djiboutian forces that was planned to reach hiiraan is a very bad strategy for that region not just that they can infiltrate the regime itself and now you got gebre as ambassodor!. We the guests of the govt was expecting from them to reduce the border coutries involvements first and then get rid of the whole amisom after a year no matter how hard is this.

Edward de bono wrote in his book New Think: “Logic is the tool that is used to dig holes deeper and bigger, to make them altogether better holes. But if the hole is in the wrong place, then no amount of improvement is going to put it in the right place. No matter how obvious this may seem to every digger, it is still easier to go on digging in the same place than to start all over again in a new place.”

Ethiopia are like the wrong old holes!.
