ESTV channel

Postby Hodan94 » Sun Feb 23, 2014 4:57 pm

so I don't really watch satellite tv but this week I saw this channel called estv. abdi illeys channel.

basically I just cant stop laughing honestly, I mean they just put dhaanto on, they do it in a weird way..moving their heads up and down, moving their arms side to side....not typical dhaanto... maybe say a mixture of Ethiopian dance.

I also saw heard this song called Somali hallelujah. that's sung in a mixture of Somali and Ethiopian.

what im saying is that they're full mode on becoming proper ethiopianised....

I thought the insults about them on snet were just exaggerating but after watching that channel......

illahay ha so hadayo.

Those guys love Ethiopia more than the dreadlock guy leroy johnson who stands outside the bookmakers in Brixton. On a serious note, that site is no different to other third world state tv stations. Lots of music and videos of government officials saving the earth and giving little children chocolates. The Ethiopians have learnt the power of soft power.

Thank you. I thought I was the only one who thought that. Literally every other somali channel has some variety, but that one is just dancing and singing 24/7.

they wont become ethiopianised, the channel is set up primarily for the somali diaspora from galbeed.
