It's an interesting article but a bit off the mark. It argues that according to a SOFA agreement between Ukraine and Russia (status of force agreement), Russia reserves the right to post up to 30,000 troops in Crimea. That's true but what they don't mention is that a SOFA agreement is about the easiest thing to breach since it's invalidated upon the slightest disagreement between the concerned parties or alleged violation of territorial integrity by the host nation.
Russia is violating international law, but who doesn't when it suits them? I wonder why they're even bothering with the media coverage and lambasting of Russia, besides paying lip service of condemnation, nobody can really do anything about it. Russia did a Kosovo on Ukraine and as of last week, Crimea is part of Russia
