None of the other regions in the 6-regions do they have political or military control. Sharif Hassan himself today in that interview said he could see no way possible Baidoa can go to Kismaayo or Gedo and 6 regions group should stop deluding themselves.
The question is why didn't Sharif Hassan stop 6 regions hard and if the saying is it is better to prevent something then destroy it....why didn't he announce his 3 region election and administration before the 6 regions?
The answer is the man is a brilliant strategist. He waited for 6 regions to claim the FOOT and after their failure came about to claim the real pize which is the INCH.

Now Jubbaland, even Puntland, The Somali government including President, Prime Minister, and speaker Jawaari from the press release today, Nicholas Kay and UN, Ethiopia which is personally guaranteeing his security, the AMISOM in general, IGAD, the AU etc are all tripping over themselves to realize a maamul of 3 regions of Bay, Bakool, and Lower Shabelle with Sharif Hassan as president.
How else could he have gotten Lower Shabelle so easily and legitimately. It is like the entire voice of Hawiye has been drowned out.
