no it is not, don't derail the topic further
We apologize for our former paranoid president, in all fairness he seen u guys working with the country he was at war with previously and had to retreat after it was 4 on 1. He still shouldn't have dealt with the problem the way he did.

look at my posts and you will see my path to a real union.
your fantasy of somaliland becoming a federal state is impossible,
first of all it can only happen after we are millitarily and politically defeated which is impossible.

even after that impossible scenario, do you think we will be loyal citizens?

If you are serious about union you will be thinking about realistic alternatives , and you will be hopefull for the future.

Hit the hammer on the nail. These walaweyns can't think beyond tomorrow. Their "nationalism" is so fake you can smell the manure. If they truly cared about a united Somali Republic, they would be fixing their issues, removing all foreign interference and putting themselves in a political and economic position where SL rejoin would be tempting and advantageous. Nope they are still engaged in clan-warfare in the 21st Century and are only interested in undermining SL at the first instance. They even lack the cunning or intelligence to woo and trap SL.

A game of Chess would be a mystery to them.

Who said one has to have nationalism or be nationalistic to care about a united Somali Republic. I swear Somalis have abused the word nationalism, they have totally misinterpreted the meaning of nationalism.

I can be the least nationalistic person in the world and still want a united Somali republic because of economic and global interest.

Also, you Somalilanders are so stuck up your own asses. You guys think so much of this 'precious' Somaliland. You guys are no different than Puntland or even regions in the South that are peaceful. You only have peace and some cuqdad filled lazy khat addict citizens, thats all. Also this clan-warfare that occurs in Koonfuur also occurs in Waqooyi. Not only that your whole Somaliland politics resolves around qabil, one habar politician complaining over another habar politician. Somaliland is nothing dude, I swear Mogadishu the most wanted city by the terrorist is more worthy of all of Somaliland (Hargeysa, Burco, Berbera) combined.

The most qabil obbsessed clan are well-know, and that is the Eydoors. Eydoor politics resolve around qabyaalad nothing more nothing less. Eydoor today:

Who are you guys trying to fool?

Derail Somalia as much as you want, it won't make Somaliland a Singapore or a Dubai it will only make Somaliland remain the shithole it is. And you and thousands of other Eydoors will still remain refugees. And hundreds of Eydoors youth would be flocking on plastic boats to Europe.

The most delusional people ever.

No ones wants SL to die, prosper as a regional area of greater ''somalia''. No one wants the destruction of SL. Real union, yes you should promote that more instead of propagating childish ideas like secessionism.
somaliland becoming a federal state - don't want that - well ideally centralism should be pushed but thats for years to come slowly with trust.
why are reer sl so closed minded. Its quite sad. what are these realistic alternatives ?
XimanJaale calm down, being abusive won't make ppl change their ideas. reer sl proper are just hurt people.

Somaliland doesn't need to roll over and die. The whole ambition was dead from the start. No amount foreign towns recognising Somaliland will bring the dead ambition alive.
