Are Kenyans shooting themselves in the feet longterm-wise?

Post by LiquidHYDROGEN »

Compare Kenya's policy of isolating and alienating ethnic Somalis coupled with the recent brutal crackdown on IDPs and even Kenyan citizens of Somali descent to Ethiopia's systematic integration of Somalis while secretly murdering and imprisoning any dissidents and install a puppet/propaganda mouthpiece. Look at Ethiopia's effort to develop the K5 cities and improve infrastructure. And then look at the lack of development in NFD towns like Garissa and even the lack of investment in the so called trading hub, Eastleigh. That's the difference between political genius's and caqli-caruur bantus. Don't get me wrong, I despise xabashis like hell, but you got to admire their hustle.

The average Kenyan citizen is very much in love with Somalis. The taxi drivers tell me how they like Somalis in here. I even had one taxi driver suggesting he should avoid one specific street "because there are a lot of thieves masquerading as police". The point is Kenyan citizens and Somalis equally hate the Kenyan government , who is bent on milking the poor average citizens. The reason K5 sees a lot of infrastructural boom is not because the Ethiopians like Somalis in there- far from it. It means In Ileey challenged these guys to do something for their region, and he's that powerful for them not to agree. He gets k5 share from the Ethiopian government whereas the gram gram in the NFD lack spine. You have to challenge these corrupt Kenyan policy makers and non of them have challenged them as of yet. Mr Duale is close, but he's an opportunist first and foremost and he can't challenge his jubilee masters any time soon .
