Famine expected to reach the Northeast due to delayed rains

Postby thegoodshepherd » Wed Jun 04, 2014 3:23 pm

FAO has just released a report detailing that the famine now affecting the south and central regions of Somalia may move northeast.
Quote from the report: "we might see new levels of crisis unfold especially in southern parts of Somalia and the mainly pastoral northeast"
The report also talked about how the northeast of Somali might be especially affected.
The report: http://www.faosomalia.org/news/130-dela ... in-somalia
Lets pray for rain my brothers, this could get bad very quickly by the end of May.

Inshallah quick rains for the north east

but this can all be prevented with diverting rivers, and building wells and sustaining water that kind of thing

we can roam around in the desert forever
