the current political tendencies in mogadishu

Postby sahal80 » Mon Jun 09, 2014 7:19 am

Islamism is still the political choice for the contemporary southren society

Currently, there are three political tendencies, the main political rival of dam jadid is the salafist al ictisam group ex al itihad. The salafist group is now emerging strongly in response to the ikhwans power grabbing

In some abroad meetings, they asked themselves why they can orgonize themselves like farah abdulqadir and his ikhwanists did

The leader of this group is abdulqadir osoble, includes al ictisam politicians such as the ex minister dahir geele, regional politicians like cali haaj

Most people who are supporting to remove hassan sheekh don't know that the alternative is much worse!

This is why the west is keeping the status qua!

The osoble group are just ready to enter unholy alliance with any one but they have more conservative values than dj!

There is now a process of deconstructing al itisam as the govt has infiltrated in the group and as you see now dahir geele is accompaigning the president in egypt!

Al ictisaam has diplomatic relations with the west but the biggest dj card is the president not being an islamist!

Infact It was the reason that he became the president as the other two candidates were islamists

The last group is ala shaykh but there's a lack of center, most of them don't work in explicit system but as an islamist cover institutions that replaced the role of the international crisis in somalia, thus, their opinions matter internationally...some believe that they will come clean in post-2016 though they keep target the govt till then, will keep playing their cover roles

Includes abdi ainte and abdi rashid of HIPS, professor afyare ilmi, professor hassan bariise(the last two are based in the gulf)

They are following the same CRD steps to have ties with the west

All of them have worked before for the international crisis until HIPS become an independent in order to replace the crisis itself in somalia!
