Nope Italian colonialism ended in 1950. On 26 June 1960 South Somalia was under UN trusteeship different thing. But 26 June is celebrated because it is when Northern Somalia gained its independence from Britain which is a important day for all of Somalia.

Yes we are facing many obstacles, but so are Somaliland.

At least we celebrating a honourable day our forefathers defeated Christian crusaders/colonisers whilst you guys are busy celebrating a stupid cuqdad infested day (18 may).
