PETA accuses Somaliland of animal abuse

Dear Government of Somaliland,

I am writing on behalf of PETA and our more than 3 million members and supporters, including thousands across the world, to express our deep disapproval of how animals are used in your May 18 Independence Day. We practically have observed a lion caged in a small cage that is only big enough for his perimeter length. We have also obtained evidence of animals such as donkeys been draped in flags made of heavy silk in a 97 degree weather. This is unacceptable and we hope this matter be addressed speedily.
